What ID should I bring with me on the day?
Passport, Driving Licence, Biometric Residents permit, Citizen Card, Validate UK ID card, HM Forces ID Card, Student Card, Police warrant card.
ID is not required for children under 18, but if your child looks younger than the minimum age limit for the event they must bring proof of age to ensure they are not refused admission.
Can someone else use my tickets?
Tickets are non-transferable and can only be used by the person named on the ticket.
How will my ticket be issued and when will I receive it?
If your application is successful you will receive an email asking you to confirm your places. Please make sure you also check your spam folder. You will need to respond to the email within the timeframe specified in the email. Once you have confirmed your places, you will receive an email with a link to an information pack. You will need to print the cover letter and forms within the pack as requested so please read the instructions. The cover letter will act as a ticket to this event. As this event is being allocated via a random draw, the draw will take place on Sunday 15th September 2019.
Does my ticket guarantee me a space?
Yes, if your application is successful your cover letter will be your ticket(s) and it will guarantee your space(s) at the ramble.
I have received tickets but am unable to use them. How do I let you know?
If you have received tickets and are no longer able to use them you can let us know by contacting the email address or telephone number within your information pack. You can either cancel all of your tickets or just part of your allocation. We will then be able to reallocate your tickets to someone else on the waiting list.
What happens when I arrive at the event?
Your information pack will contain useful information and timings, which will provide you with a guide for when to arrive, the registration window, what time the ramble will start and an estimated finish time.
Please note we will have increased security checks at this event. Bag searches and ID checks will be in operation.
Do I have to pay for tickets?
Tickets to these events are complimentary.
I don’t live in the UK. How can I apply for tickets?
As Countryfile is funded by the licence fee, paid for by UK residents, tickets are only available to residents within a UK postcode.
Residents of the Isle of Man, as licence fee payers, are eligible to apply for BBC shows and related events.
I applied for tickets online and haven’t received my confirmation of application email. What should I do?
If you haven’t received an email from us confirming that your ticket application has been received, it’s possible that a technical issue has prevented your application being submitted successfully or is preventing your confirmation e-mail being received, or it may be that you typed your email address incorrectly when entering your details.
Sometimes confirmation emails get filtered into spam or junk mail, so you should always check there and make sure responseteam.co.uk is added to your email client list of safe senders.
In the event that you don’t receive a confirmation of application and have checked that our emails aren’t being filtered out of your inbox, we suggest that you re-submit your application.
If you have received a confirmation email then your request will have been received successfully. Please note this does not necessarily mean that you will receive tickets.
What is the minimum age limit for the rambles?
Each ramble has a specific minimum age limit which will be clearly stated on the website when you apply. Please check the minimum age limit before applying.
Where under 18s are permitted they must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. The person applying for tickets must be 18 or over.
Please note that due to the terrain of some of the rambles, pushchairs cannot be accommodated for health and safety reasons, which will be made clear on the website before you apply.
